Our approach to security and privacy

RxVantage understands that security is built into the foundation of every organization. The RxVantage platform delivers cutting-edge security features and protocols exceeding requirements for safe and secure collaboration between medical practices and life science companies. To achieve that, we go above and beyond to instill awareness and best practices in our culture. Security and data privacy are always top of mind when designing our applications, managing our networks, and conducting daily business operations.

1

01Secure Cloud Infrastructure

RxVantage is hosted with well-known cloud providers that deliver robust, physical data center security and environmental controls. These providers are ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI, and GDPR compliant.

2

02Network Security

RxVantage controls access to our production networks through the use of strictly defined rules and requires multi-factor authentication and encrypted connections. Intrusion detection systems are used in our production network to identify potential security threats.

3

03Application Security

RxVantage employs both internal and external security testing of our product. We regularly scan source code and systems for vulnerabilities and perform necessary patching and updates based on those results.

4

04Data Protection

RxVantage encrypts data at rest and in transit utilizing the most advanced protocols. No server is used for more than 24 hours and at end of life, disks are destroyed per NIST 800-88 standards.

5

05Training & Awareness

At RxVantage, security is built into our culture. All employees go through third-party background checks and regular security trainings. Additionally, confidentiality agreements are signed by all employees and contractors.

6

06Compliance

RxVantage has successfully achieved a SOC 2 Type II attestation by independent audit from an AICPA accredited firm. To request a copy of the report, please visit https://trust.rxvantage.com. Compliance with SOC 2 criteria and RxVantage’s internal security policies is continually monitored between audits. RxVantage undergoes an annual SOC 2 review.

How RxVantage protects Virtual Meetings

Virtual Meetings are a completely secure, safe way for providers and life science experts to meet online. RxVantage employs best practice security protocols to prevent unwanted participants from joining meetings and protect end-user privacy.

Unique Secure Link

Unique Secure Link

A randomized 36-character ID and corresponding secure link is generated for each Virtual Meeting. To maintain security, this ID is immediately regenerated if a meeting is canceled or reassigned to a different life science expert.

Authorized Access Only

Authorized Access Only

Users may only join meetings that they are associated with, and must use their RxVantage credentials to authenticate.

Guest Security

Guest Security

Outside guests may be invited to join, but they can only join at the request of an authenticated user. These guests must provide name, email and role in the Virtual Waiting room, then wait for an authenticated user to admit them.

Expel Participants

Expel Participants

During the course of a Virtual Meeting, authenticated users can quickly expel any participant with a click of a button.

No Recordings

No Recordings

No video, audio, or screen sharing data is recorded or stored by RxVantage.

Share One Application
